Question: As people rely
more and more on technology to solve problems the ability of humans to think
for themselves will surely deteriorate.
From
stone age to now our technology was developed faster than we thought. We
already made a lot of items that did not exist in the past. Computers, Cars,
Cell Phones, spacecraft, they are not invented in the past. A lot
of people believe relying on technology to solve problems is better choice for
human beings’ future. However, as people rely more on technology to solve
problems the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate
to some degree.
First of all, the more people depend on something, the
more they lose. For instance, I firmly believe people rely more on
technology to solve problems that will hurt our ability to solve problems. People are increasingly relying on the use
of calculators to calculate numbers, rather than their brains to calculate. For instance, sometimes I saw even with simple calculations,
people still use calculators such like 20+20. When I with my friends at a
restaurant we used to talk each other but now my friends pay more attention to
their Smart phone rather than talk to each other. People spend more time on
internet rather than on books.
All in
all, as people
rely more and more on technology to solve problems the ability of humans to
think for themselves will surely deteriorate. I totally agree with this idea.
