As people rely more and more on technology to solve problems ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate

       At this time with the development of technology people use machines to do too many things. In some areas the robots have completely replaced the workers. Of course, it also brings a lot of problems. Some people hold this opinion if the human race more and more relies on technology to solve problems, they will lose the ability to think. This is a good question, since the industrial revolution these kinds of problem have always been mentioned. But it is ridiculous for people who know a little bit about the biological history.

        About two million years ago, our ancestor give up living in tree and came to the prairie. In the next ten thousand years our ancestors learning how to walk to replace crawl. About 2 million years ago to 300,000 years ago, our ancestors start to learn how to use fire to cook and in this time our ancestors gradually lost the hair of body. So using fire to cook and learn how to walk is a progress. In their opinion who think use the technology to solve problems is deteriorating people should give any technology and just live like a monkey.

       On the other hand, from the history of science, we also could find enough evidence to prove. Human being do not have the fastest speed or the strongest body. Also we cannot fly in the sky. But we use the tool to conquer the earth. But at this time some people hold the opinion that if people more and more rely on technology to solve problems, their ability to think for themselves will surely deteriorate. But they forget who create these technologies. Maybe they don’t forget. They just want us to forget technology: they are a traitor of all the human race.

Question: As people rely more and more on technology to solve problems the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate.

From stone age to now our technology was developed faster than we thought. We already made a lot of items that did not exist in the past. Computers, Cars, Cell Phones, spacecraft, they are not invented in the past. A lot of people believe relying on technology to solve problems is better choice for human beings’ future. However, as people rely more on technology to solve problems the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate to some degree.

            First of all, the more people depend on something, the more they lose. For instance, I firmly believe people rely more on technology to solve problems that will hurt our ability to solve problems. People are increasingly relying on the use of calculators to calculate numbers, rather than their brains to calculate. For instance, sometimes I saw even with simple calculations, people still use calculators such like 20+20. When I with my friends at a restaurant we used to talk each other but now my friends pay more attention to their Smart phone rather than talk to each other. People spend more time on internet rather than on books.

            All in all, as people rely more and more on technology to solve problems the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate. I totally agree with this idea.

With the rapid development of science and technology, people nowadays spend more time relying on technology to solve problems instead of thinking by themselves. Due to this fact, some people argue that the ability of humans to think for themselves will undoubtedly deteriorate. However, technology helps improve the working efficiency and also generates new questions and challenges for people to think of and deal with.

It is true that the people do not need to think by themselves for many problems due to the development of technology. By using computer and Internet, many problems and tasks can be quickly solved. People can google their questions and get the answers online instead of thinking of the ways of how to do research and deal with the problems step by step. People can use the calculators to solve the algebraic questions instead of figuring out the right number. Therefore, the development of technology helps a lot so that people no longer need to solve many problems by the traditional ways. This could deteriorate humans’ ability to think.

However, technology greatly improves the humans’ working efficiency and helps people move on to a higher level of intellectual work instead of a lot of low-level physical work. In addition, the new technology brings about a lot of new issues that challenge people’s thinking. For example, using new nuclear technology has become a debated topic and question for people to think of how to utilize without negative effects.

In sum, technology weakens people’s thinking ability to some degree. However, the tremendous importance and great benefits of technology cannot be underestimated.
